I finally caught up with the icon on the mountain report that designates a trail as "open" but unavailable to the public! The yellow, triangular, "Event" icon has been displayed on the listing for Lower Comp Hill for several days. I've been whining about the lack of information regarding trails that are closed for events for years...and while some people have mentioned recently that it was being flagged on the mountain report, I had not seen it.

I'll be sleeping better now that I can get more accurate information about what to expect on my next visit!
