The first morning with a trace of snow on the webcams brings us to the first post of the next installment of the annual weather log. This time in the year of our Jah, 2026-2027.

With a Super Nino, who knows what we'll get. Some season forecasts have increased precipitation (Yay!) but also increased temperatures (Boo, unless it means only -2 in February instead of -20 then yay!)

The annual weather log lovingly created by Glade Monkey has been through its summer maintenance and is live for this coming winter.

I present, the 2026 - 2027 Weather Log

This year may be a bit more lacking in tracking, but I have created a script that will scrape the SL website a few times of day and record updates to the snow, trail count, lift status, terrain park count, uphill count, if any of the Bracket trails are open, and if timberline was on hold that day. So long as my Raspberry Pi is online and running and hasn't crashed, it should run without human assistance so I can update the google sheets every few days. Community help will be appreciated.

Soon!

Sounds like your well prepared Aramark. Thank you. Get a UPS, power outages did me in with the weather tracking I tried to do a few years ago.
