Well on this matter i 100% agree with Alpiner! It’s so walkable and the food is great.

QC is on the list. My grandparents were from there and I've never been!

Thanks all. We had never been and were blown away. Highly recommended. When they finish the public works project in front of the Notre Dame basilica it will be even better. I'd like to go back someday for Winter Carnival. Would be easy to combine with some skiing at Stoneham (30 minutes) or Mont Sainte Anne (<1 hr). But summer is a must because, as b632 says, it is so walkable, and their window box game is off the charts. (damn I'm old for liking that.) Also Montmorency falls is only 20 minutes out of town.

Winter carnival with Bon Homme is a lot of fun too.
If skiing don’t forget Le Massif (just over an hour drive or 3 hours by train)

Nice trip Apliner! Quebec is a great 'local' treasure that is an easy drive...........some of the best corn on the cob and strawberries I ever had. There is a great farmers market in the city. Im fortunate to have had parents that brought me to Quebec at a young age and I get there about every year.

This is a great romantic destination. Go int thee fall or winter and not as crowded. Great food, beautiful streets to walk. Splurge and stay at the Château. We go every few years and it never disappoints

I have not been to Quebec, but I will definitely add this city to my list. I really like the city, by the way, I made a small virtual trip there, a very beautiful place.
I am Leo and my wife is Libra. We have a happy and harmonious family, and, as the Leo compatibility chart shows, our relationship is at the highest level.
