The skiing was surprisingly good today. Weaver opened this morning which really helped. Ghost and Weaver skied very at least until I left at about 2. The terrain park was well done. Nice small features to get us back into it. Got pretty scraped off by mid-day... Needs that rebuild. Hanging around Saddleback you hear the "We aren't like other mountains, we build our trail before we open it. We don't dust and cover" line quite often. Today it really rang true. Lots of snow piled up on the ghost and Weaver. It's the right call, quality is certainly SB's gig. Crowd was light for December 23, but for only a couple of choices I thought it was healthy. Lightly snowed all day, they need a huge dump before things get going.
