Very nice today.

The new on top really was awesome. Not some of the silly crusty stuff we have gotten with other storms.

Really had an awesome day.

Close the front face snowfield trails, open a bunch of Brackett and SL is back on top with 813 open acres

if it isn't groomed, it isn't open
132 ===> 73 open trails
Then lightning sighting temporarily closes all the lifts.

Took this whole week off and have to say the skiing is top notch right now. Groomers did an excellent job the last few days following weekend snow and Monday wind. Tuesday was truly perfect day for ripping groomers all day long. Glades are excellent right now as well. I'd guess the current base depth, which is probably what it should be for this time of year, might be deeper than at any point in the last three seasons.

Just saw a news story on WCSH about SL ski patrol rescuing a guy stuck in a tree well this past weekend. That is a rarity in the east!

Skied it twice! First time was right after they dropped the rope. Safe to say it got better as the day went on and run #2 was definitely better than the first. Plenty of snow back there but all the wind blown needed some skiers to run it over and break it up. The spots that people had skied up were fantastic. Soft and sugary snow, the type that only seems to be found on the backside.

Really exciting to have it back open. I think someone said it's been 4 years since it's opened, but it's been more like 8 since I've skied it. I don't see any reason why it won't stay open through the weekend. With cat skiing, awesome conditions, and now the backside open, I'm guessing this weekend will be very busy up here. Come get it!

heard TL had people on it for about 35 mins sunday am. we rode it sunday pm and it stopped a bunch, but seemed to be normal.

backside was a little boney - especially the runout / last two rock gardens at the bottom. i posted pics on twitter. 6-inches of heavy stuff will make it v good.
front face seems to be more buried. better off starting from summit and going toward KP, again - made better by 6-in of heavy.

what a weekend for SL. deep blue sky and no wind. backside, TL actually ran... parking on access rd both days.

need more snow

I also got into the backside on Saturday. Think it was my first time since 2018 (ish?). What a unique experience. It should be billed as the mecca of eastern skiing. Burnt skied well as well
