East side... Haulback, Ripsaw,Widowmaker, Choker hurt badly, not even open today. Natural snow trails seemed to have taken a beating. Bubblecuffer, at least from the vantage point of the lift ride up WT seemed in pretty good shape though. I didn't make it there. Ramdown, Whiffletree, Sluice, Spillway, Narrow Gauge and Boardwalk were my limit today before I was soaked through. Ramdown, WT and BW at least had a lane or two by a groomer, the others, nada, and they were, um, rugged.

Usually the events are not as bad as we think there are going to be. This may be the exception. I cannot believe how much snow we lost at our condo (on mountain side just below the base). Nearly bare ground. 55 degrees at 9:30. Sad. Let’s hope the backside of this storm brings some snow.

Could be a good morning for those who like groomers. Everything that has not been churned is a frozen solid mix of ice, flow, and mud. This is January in New England. We all knew that going in.

The tail end of the storm did not deliver. 2” of snow. KP, Timberline, and West Mountain are closed presumably due to no snow. I feel like I’ve done more lounging in the condo this year than ever. On the bright side my cribbage game is razor sharp. Normally I would be on snubber right now but I am guessing the groomers are all sugar-on-concrete.
